The UK election in May 2010 resulted in a three-way tie, or as they like to call it a “Hung Parliament.” I decided to have some fun and put together a montage of the three candidates throughout the election process.
“Crumbling Elegance” is a full length feature about Wiltons Music Hall in East London. It is the worlds oldest surviving Grand Music Hall. It’s rich history begins in the 1850s where it joined the first generation of public house music halls in London. It a staple in the history of entertainment and spawned the vaudville style in the United States. Just over 150 years later the hall is still used as a performance space, but 60% of the building is derelict and unusable. New fundraising initiatives, including a grant from the National Heritage Lottery Fund, are taking place to save a part of London’s history.
